Job description
About Alpine
Alpine is the place to grow your HR career while helping build a brand that genuinely puts people first. We are growing rapidly, and on a mission to become the global leader in hearing protection with a strong commitment to sustainability, highlighted by our B-Corp certification. Our purpose is clear: to protect as many people as possible from unnecessary hearing damage, so they can enjoy sound for a lifetime. In a world that’s getting louder, harmful noise threatens the health of over 1 billion people, and we’re here to change that. Behind it all is a proud, ambitious and slightly loud team, and keeping that team healthy, happy, growing and developing is exactly what this role is about.
About the role
This is a hands-on role. As our Talent and Development Partner, you own the full breadth of HR, from finding and hiring great people to keeping them healthy, growing and motivated. You'll be doing this for a fast-growing team of 80+ people from more than 10 nationalities, as we continue to professionalize, grow internationally and develop towards a team of 150+ in the years ahead. Based at our Global Head Office in Utrecht, you're the go-to for employees and managers alike, and the person who keeps our HR year running like clockwork. You're part of a close HR team, reporting to the Head of People and working closely with our HR Officer. And because our HR function is in full development, there's real room to build, improve and grow along with us.
The team
You'll join a compact, three-person People team. Our Head of People leads on strategy, organizational development, leadership, reward and HR policy. Our HR Officer keeps HR administration, contracts, HR systems and payroll running smoothly. As Talent and Development Partner, you're the tactical and operational heart in between: the go-to for recruitment, casework, the performance and development cycle, and the HR calendar. And automating our processes and putting AI to work? That's something we take on together, as a team.
What you'll do
Own recruitment end to end, from open vacancy to a confident 'yes' and a smooth onboarding
Advise and support employees on individual cases, big and small
Drive and coordinate the performance and development cycle
Guide employees and managers through absence and reintegration
Be a trusted sparring partner for managers on a wide range of people questions
Lead operational HR projects that move the organization forward
Help us automate our HR processes and tap into the possibilities of AI, with plenty of freedom to experiment with new tools yourself
Why you'll love it
A truly hands-on role, with our HR function in full development, real space to shape it and grow your own career alongside it
Real ownership of the full HR operation from day one
This role isn't static. As Alpine keeps growing, so does the room to specialize and take on more.
A close-knit HR team inside a fast-growing, international B Corp
A workplace where impact, innovation and fun genuinely go hand in hand
What you'll get
A competitive salary of €3,500–€4,000 gross per month (based on a full-time contract, excluding holiday allowance and pension), depending on your experience
Training budget and access to GoodHabitz for continuous learning
A hybrid working setup, including a work-from-home budget
A solid pension scheme
Company workouts and lunch twice a week at the office
Legendary team events, including annual trips and Christmas celebrations
Access to global events and festivals where Alpine is present - with free tickets!
Job requirements
Who you are
A relevant HR education and at least 3 years of experience in an HR role
A proactive go-getter who takes initiative and ownership
Enthusiastic and approachable, people enjoy working with you
Hands-on and able to switch between operations and sharp, strategic advice
Discreet with confidential matters, structured and organized with the rest
Fluent in both Dutch and English, written and spoken
Life at Alpine
You'll join a purpose-driven, international environment in the booming hearing protection market. A professional scale-up vibe with a passionate, young and motivated team, where innovation, impact and fun go hand in hand. We're B Corp certified and deeply committed to people and planet. Your ideas are heard, and your work truly matters.
