About the role: Marketplace Manager 

As Marketplace Manager, you will help drive growth on global marketplaces such as Amazon and Bol.com. Together with the Head of Marketplaces and your marketplace colleagues, you’ll work on maximizing our visibility, sales, and profitability across regions. 

This is a role where you will learn by doing: from optimizing product content and running campaigns, to diving into data and experimenting with new ways to grow. You’ll quickly build hands-on experience across all aspects of marketplaces while contributing directly to Alpine’s international success. 

You will report directly to the Head of Marketplaces and collaborate with teams in e-commerce, marketing, finance, and logistics. 

Responsibilities 

• P&L responsible (net sales, profit, market share) for the assigned marketplaces. 

• Help manage product content, SEO, and advertising campaigns on Amazon and Bol. 

• Monitor account health and performance and help solve operational issues. 

• Conduct data deep-dives to spot opportunities and areas for improvement. 

• Assist in setting up campaigns for key events such as Amazon Prime Day. 

• Support the creation and execution of marketplace strategies and roadmaps. 

• Stay up to date with marketplace best practices, tools, and trends — and test out new ideas.

What do we expect from you? 

You are eager to learn, entrepreneurial, and not afraid to get hands-on with the details of marketplace management. Next to that you bring: 

• 1–2 years of working experience in e-commerce an/or marketplaces, preferably with Amazon or Bol. 

• Marketplace advertising experience preferred. 

• A growth mindset: curious, proactive, and always looking for ways to improve (test & learn). 

• Data-driven thinking and an eye for detail. 

• Strong organizational skills and a structured way of working. 

• A problem-solving attitude and love for working in a fast-paced scale-up.
