About the role: (Junior) Webshop Manager

The (Junior) Webshop Manager is an important role within the digital team to help enabling our online growth on 5 websites in NL, FR, DE, UK and US. Soon Alpine is going to re-launched all 5 webshops on Shopify platform for better and faster shopping experience. By doing that, we will set up a strong foundation to implement our brand appearance and enable potential growth globally. The ambitious growth plan leads to a lot of new initiatives which we shall focus on in the coming years. Therefore, we are expanding the team to accelerate our improvements so that we can follow the roadmap. 

The (Junior) Webshop Manager role will be supporting the Webshop Manager both on front-end Webshop improvements as well as back-end administration, for instance:

  • Support the launch of digital flagship store and transit operations smoothly
  • Ensure accurate and consistent product information are updated on time
  • Work with content team to maintain and improve content across different web pages
  • Launch new product on time with related banners, images, blogs, etc.
  • Align campaign planning and process with marketing to execute campaigns effectively
  • Create landing pages and support campaigns / promotions to be live on time
  • Configure add-ons and bundles correctly to increase order value
  • Improve customer service and other help pages to provide better guidance to customers
  • Coordinate customer service operation with CS team to improve service level
  • Research and provide insights for customer funnels to improve customer journey
  • Update performance report on regular basis and share insights with stakeholders
  • Configure additional apps or service to be integrated on the webshop
  • Convert sale target into stock forecast and work with logistic to improve stock efficiency
  • Monitor order fulfilment progress across different logistic hubs
  • Support in various webshop projects to be implemented successfully

For this role you will be working in close relationship with your team members inside the digital team and outside the team: finance, customer service, logistics. In the next few years we strive to a data driven digital growth led by our recently started CDO Maurice Barten. You will be part of a senior strategic digital team with specialists in marketplaces, web shops and performance marketing.

Job requirements

Who are you?

As a junior webshop manager you are an ambitious person who wants to make our shopping journey perfect. You like to manage your own agenda, and you like to take ownership of the end-to-end responsibility. You are data driven, result focused, but also pay enough attention to details. In addition, you love the dynamics and variety that comes with a fast-growing company, with a fantastic, young, and energetic team!

  • 1-3 years of relevant working experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Strong attention to detail with an outstanding problem-solving skills
  • Digital shopper mindset and customer oriented
  • Ambitious, self-driven and hands-on mentality
