Your Role in the R&D Team

You’ll join our Research & Development department — the creative heart of Alpine. This team focuses on product innovation, renovation, and maintenance, constantly improving our product portfolio to meet the needs of consumers around the world.

You’ll work closely with experienced engineers, Product Managers, and take ownership of your own projects. Expect a mix of creative concepting, hands-on prototyping, user testing, and project coordination.

Your tasks may include:

• Supporting the design and development of new and improved hearing protection products.

• Building and testing prototypes to validate technical solutions.

• Conducting user tests and collecting insights to drive improvements.

• Collaborating with internal stakeholders and external partners to move ideas from concept to market.

• Assisting with project management and documentation within the R&D workflow.

By the end of your internship, you’ll have developed practical knowledge of how a Research & Development department operates within a fast-growing organization — and gained valuable experience that will boost your career in product design and innovation.

Who You Are

• You’re currently enrolled as a college or university student for the full internship period.

• You are an EU citizen, or a non-EU student currently studying in the Netherlands.

• You study Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, or a similar discipline.

• You’re creative, curious, and passionate about product design and innovation.

• You’re a positive, proactive learner who thrives in a dynamic team environment.

• You’re available for at least 5 months, starting February 2026.
