Job description
We're a fast-moving D2C brand that doesn't play it safe - we build. For years, we've been carving out a global position on marketplaces, turning Amazon and bol into high-performing, 8-digit revenue channels with real commercial ambition behind every decision. We work directly with platform teams, move fast when we spot opportunities, and hold ourselves to a standard that most companies only talk about in slides.
Now we're looking for the person who will own it all.
About the role: Global Marketplace Commerce Lead
This isn't a "manage the day-to-day" kind of job. As our Marketplace Commerce Lead, you will drive our global marketplace strategy from plan to P&L in close cooperation with the CDO. You'll translate big commercial ambitions into sharp quarterly trading plans, own cross-functional alignment across Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain and Operations - and make sure that when Prime Day hits, we're not scrambling. We're ready.
You'll report directly to our CDO – a digital veteran who’s in the digital space since the early 2000’s – while informally steering an agile cross-functional team across the business. Global scope. Real ownership. Budget responsibility included.

What you’ll own
Execute the annual marketplace strategy across all markets (Amazon, bol, TikTok Shop, and beyond), translating it into concrete trading plans per quarter and month, built around tent-pole events (Prime Days, BFCM), seasonality and category opportunities.
Monitor and steer business performance per market and category — and when something's underperforming, you don't wait. You act.
Drive the Integrated Business Planning process: keeping Sales, Growth Marketing, and Operations aligned and moving in the same direction, at speed.
Own demand planning and volume forecasting in lockstep with Operations, so we're always in stock and never sitting on dead inventory.
Lead budget planning (including latest estimates) and ensure all milestones are delivered on time and in full.
Coach and develop your direct report, and build a team culture defined by energy, ownership and accountability.

Job requirements
What we’re looking for
5+ years of experience in digital commerce or marketplace roles - ideally within FMCG (think Unilever, P&G, Nestlé, L'Oréal, Kraft Heinz, -Reckitt or similar). You know what rigorous commercial planning looks like and you want to apply that sharpness in a setting where you have real autonomy.
You're a commercially sharp, data-driven operator who can zoom out to set strategy and zoom in to unblock execution.
You understand the language of marketplaces: trading calendars, in-stock rates, contribution margin, AHR, forecasting - this is your daily vocabulary.
You thrive at the intersection of multiple functions - you bring people along without needing the authority to command them.
You make fast, high-quality decisions under ambiguity. You don't need perfect information to act.
Excellent command of English (written and verbal). Dutch is a plus but not required.
